How It Works
Community Participation Platform
Little Horizons Australia operates as a membership-based community participation platform.
Members participate through monthly subscription memberships. All revenue generated through the platform may be pooled and managed in accordance with the Little Horizons Australia Terms & Conditions.
Members may express preferences through structured participation features such as surveys or voting tools. These participation features reflect member preferences only and are advisory in nature.
All allocation, operational and implementation decisions remain at the sole discretion of Little Horizons Australia to ensure feasibility, safety, compliance and responsible management.
Step 1: Membership
Members join by selecting a monthly subscription tier.
Membership provides:
• Participation in structured platform voting or preference tools
• Project and allocation updates
• Access to member communications
• Access to member initiatives where applicable
Subscriptions renew automatically and may be cancelled at any time in accordance with the platform’s cancellation policy.
Membership provides access to the participation platform and related features only.
Membership payments are not charitable donations and are not tax-deductible.
Step 2: Platform Fund Structure
All membership payments and other platform revenue may be pooled into a single operating account managed by Little Horizons Australia.
Each funding period:
• Up to 50% may be allocated to the Community Impact Fund
• The remaining portion may support platform operations including administration, technology, compliance, professional services, marketing, reserves and long-term sustainability
This structure is designed to support the continued operation of the platform while enabling community-focused initiatives.
Exact allocations may vary where reasonably required for operational, compliance or legal reasons.
Members do not acquire any beneficial interest in pooled funds and have no right to direct, control, recover or claim those funds.
Step 3: Community Participation
Members may express preferences regarding community focus areas through structured participation tools made available on the platform.
Participation features such as surveys, feedback tools or voting mechanisms are advisory only and do not create binding obligations.
Little Horizons Australia retains full discretion regarding:
• Recipient eligibility
• Timing of initiatives
• Allocation method
• Implementation and delivery
• Feasibility assessment
• Risk, safety and compliance considerations
Participation does not create any ownership, equity, control rights, fiduciary relationship or enforceable entitlement over platform revenue or initiatives.
Step 4: Transparency & Reporting
Little Horizons Australia is committed to providing visibility into platform activity where reasonably practical.
Updates may include:
• Total funds raised
• Allocation summaries
• Community focus areas prioritised
• Initiatives supported
Detailed financial statements, audits or recipient disclosures are not guaranteed unless required by applicable law.
Step 5: Membership Cancellation
Members may cancel their membership at any time.
Cancellation requests may be submitted through the website Contact Page.
Members must include:
• Full name
• Email address associated with the membership
Cancellation requests are generally processed within 2 business days.
Once processed:
• membership remains active until the end of the current billing period
• the subscription will not renew
• no further charges will be applied
Members remain responsible for any charges incurred prior to cancellation being processed.
If a payment is processed in error after a confirmed cancellation request, Little Horizons Australia will correct or refund that payment as required.
Membership fees already paid are non-refundable except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Little Horizons Australia may verify the identity of the requesting member before processing cancellation in order to protect account security.

Giveaways & Member Initiatives
From time to time, Little Horizons Australia may conduct member initiatives, giveaways or promotional activities.
Participation in these activities may be subject to separate terms and applicable state or territory regulations.
Giveaways or promotional initiatives do not represent a financial return on membership and are not guaranteed.
